Badge for Mother-to-be

Mothers-to-be in early pregnancy could not be seen from the size of belly and would not be specially took care of when they take the bus or subway. Therefore, the Organizing Committee of China Maternal and Infant Health Promotion Campaign decides to distribute badges for mothers-to-be for free. With the badges, the expectant mothers could receive the most practical and considerate assistance and could avoid unexpected accident in public places in their early pregnancy.

As we all know, expectant mothers would take maternity leave nearing delivery and they have to go to work in their pregnancy. Most of them would take the bus or subway to work and would enjoy the privilege to get on or off the bus or offered with seats and taken care of to avoid being pressed by other passengers. However, those expectant mothers in their early pregnancy do not have obviously-projecting belly and it is difficult to judge whether they are pregnant or not from the outward. They would not be specially taken care of and have to cram onto the bus and subway with other people when accidents may easily happen, which would be more serious in crowded cities.

Therefore, they need a wearable and obvious identification to remind people around that they are pregnant and shall be specially taken care of.

Due to such practical and strong demands, the Organizing Committee of China Maternal and Infant Health Promotion Campaign decides to launch the large-scale public-service activity to hand out badges for mothers-to-be. With the badges, our expectant mothers could receive the most considerate assistance and avoid unexpected accident in public places in their early pregnancy.
